What we do
City DD Dispatch Desk is an independent truck dispatch service. We find loads, negotiate rates with brokers, handle broker setups, rate confirmations, border paperwork and proof of delivery, and plan each week so you run more paid miles and fewer empty ones. You approve every load before it is booked, and every load is booked in your name, under your own authority and insurance. We are the carrier's dispatch agent, not a freight broker.
Who it's for
We work with owner-operators and small fleets running dry van, reefer, flatbed, step deck, power only, hotshot and box trucks across Western Canada and the western United States — British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan, and Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Nevada, Utah and Arizona. New authorities are welcome, and there are no long contracts or setup fees.
Who's behind it
City DD Dispatch Desk is run by City DD Logistics Inc., a British Columbia company that also operates the City DD same-day courier service. The desk is based in Langley, BC, and books loads on both sides of the border. You deal with the same dispatcher every time, not a call centre, and a real person answers the phone. We price every load against your cost per mile and don't book under it.
